Autumn...

These nugget treats are perfect for the upcoming season.
The wood block stamps are oldies but goodies that were in my stash.
Sentiments are from Rosie's Roadshow and Amuse and the images are from PSX.

another beauty

One of my favorite stamp sets to use for a sympathy card is beautiful day by Altenew.
It is so pretty when layered with color. You can add as much or as little color as you like. I added the flowers to the bottom of this embossed card. So beautiful!

This card was made by using several embossing folders. I used the cherry blossom folder for the bottom of the card. I cut it in half and then added the top half of the with sympathy embossing folder. I added a strip of paper tape from amuse studio. A simple yet beautiful card.

rejoice

These cards could be used for any occasion.
It is a simple card to make using an embossing folder. The cards already have the watercolor marks on them. I just embossed the front. Added some ribbon and a very nice card instantly.

A friend of mine gave me a personalized ring holder that her sister made. I just love it!
She did the lettering and name on her cameo silhouette using vinyl.
So talented.

Look at the cute packaging!
Be sure to check out her facebook page and if you need a gift idea she has so many good ones...and she will ship right to you!

Card class

Another fabulous card class at Sylvia's this week!
Love the friend card the most!

Sylvia is so talented with her card making. She teaches us new techniques and makes us think outside the box. This is why I love taking her classes...though I still am not a fan of glitter. Thank you Sylvia for your talent, humour, and friendship!

StampAway Fun!

Friday night Sylvia and I went to the preview party at Stampaway and had a blast! I wish we would have gotten a picture together...next year we won't forget.

I guess I did not get enough of the fun that my stamp club/craft club went on Saturday morning. We had so much fun...these ladies are awesome!
We laughed, we cried, we shopped...then we laughed and cried and shopped some more!

Colleen...with her FREE bag...of course she is now known as the high roller shopper.
Lookin good Colleen!

Ran into more of my stamping friends....Gena and Carolyn! So happy to have seen them.
We love our stamps!

Photos courtesy of the Stampaway photographer. Where's Karen?
I know she was there! If you look close you will see Regina and I purchasing our must have stamp set. You can also see Colleen and Casey conversing over where to go next and you see Shari looking for her next great buy....but where's Karen?

What better way to top off the day with a little lunch and show and tell.
Chilis was the place to be...delicious and cheap...since we spent all our money at Stamp Away!
Until next year.....

It's time...

Stamp Away here we come!
I sent a few of these out to some of my stamping friends who I thought might be interested in going to the Stamp Away Convention.
This is an Art Impression set I saw at Micheals the other day and knew I had to have it!
The sentiment "stamps this way" sold me on it.
I just love a new set of stamps...don't you?!
Let the FUN begin!

getting ready...

School is right around the corner and it's time to get ready
for those kiddos and teachers heading back.
A friend of mine asked me to make her some treats for the pre-school teachers where she works....here is what I came up with.

I love creating new treats using Hershey nuggets...these are so darling...makes me wish I had some kids going to school....okay...maybe not.

The nuggets are covered with washi tape and the words I printed on my computer. The school house is an old...and I mean old amuse artstamp clear set from long ago.
