Love how they turned out!

belated birthday

There are so many birthdays in the family in June that it is hard to keep track. I don't know how I missed Claire's birthday...so I made a belated birthday card for her. I love this little turtle from Lawn Fawn...perfect for belated wishes.
Happy Birthday to you Claire!

Happy birthday

The summer months bring lots of birthdays so I am making cards!

These cards are made using the Flora and Fauna birthday set. Melissa got me onto this set and it is a fun one! Love the little birdie eyeing that cake!
The sentiment is from Simon Says It's Your Birthday set.
The row of flower sequins is from amuse studio.

paper lanterns

How cute are these paper lanterns that my sister made for her daughter-in-laws baby shower. They bought the colored paper lanterns and then decorated them to match the barnyard theme they had going for the shower. I just love them!

Just adorable!!

They were hanging in the barn and the breeze had them blowing around...so stinkin' cute!

hello

I was playing around in the stamp room yesterday. I wasn't sure how this card was going to turn out but I was pleased and thought I would post it.
I used the wonderful windows from amuse studio and the girlfriends stamp set. I masked off the window so I could just get the girl peeking thru. I love the girlfriends stamp set.

hello friend

I just love this stamp set from Concord and 9th. The image is from the hello lovely stamp set and the sentiment is from the be strong stamp set. You can leave it simple or add a touch of color and wink of stella for some shimmer.

try this!

Went to visit my friend Carolyn and she showed me a new technique for a card. It is awesome and you have to try it.
You know those beautiful paper napkins or hand towels that are disposable?  Well you can use them to make gorgeous cards! Here is how you do it.
So you open the napkin and cut it to the size you want. This one is 4 x 6. You can get 4 out of some napkins...depends on the image. This napkin I can make 4 cards.
Here is the layering for your card.

You lay a piece of parchment paper down first
Then you lay your cardstock that is the same size as your napkin
Next you lay a piece of glad wrap on the cardstock
Lay the napkin on top of the glad wrap
Add another piece of parchment paper
Use hot iron setting and iron over parchment paper for a few minutes.
I recommend layering all these on top of an old cutting board to prevent making a mess to your counter top.
The heat melts the glad wrap and makes the napkin adhere to your cardstock. Voila...you have a beautiful card in minutes.

Thanks Carolyn for sharing this idea.

new look

I bought another desk that was similar to my other desk in my stamp room. I really was never a fan of my old desk because one... it was too high and two... it was a little shaky. I like the style but that was about it. So I was out at Hobby Lobby yesterday and saw a desk that I have always liked but was too expensive...but low and behold it was on CLEARANCE! I snagged it up and took it home. The best part was no assembly!  So you know what that means...time to rearrange!

I use my old desk now for a work station.
I have my cutting boards and score board on the desk and it is awesome!

Time to get crafting!

Baby Burger

I am going to a baby shower today for Baby Burger!
The girls and I went in together on this gift and we went all out with the farm/barn theme!
Hope the mother to be and soon to be baby like it as much as we do!

America...

I love making treats.
These were so fun to make and very festive for the upcoming July holiday.
The nuggets are wrapped in patriotic washi tape and the stars are punched. The sentiment is from an old amuse art stamp set...super easy!

Grad gift

I love giving unique gifts for a grad...this one is useful too!
I found the magnetic dry erase board at Kohl's and thought it would be perfect for a dorm room and new college student. I made the cute banner out of cardstock and a stampin up punch.
The letters are from Concord and 9th's sophisticated script.
See you at the party!

I love donuts...

I LOVE donuts!
And I love donut stamp sets.
I found this cute set at Michael's the other day and had to have it. I used my 40% off coupon and got it for a steal at $6! Look how easy it was to make these cute donuts.
I had a circle punch that was the perfect size to punch out the donuts after I colored them.
