Sampler Class

I had a great time last night with Sylvia at Marcia Gay's Valentine Sampler class.
We made this beautiful 12 x 12 page. Marcia had all the parts and pieces ready for us to just stamp and put together. It was so easy and went together very quickly.
What a fun night!

I came home and put it in my 12 x 12 frame just in time for Valentine decorating.

Happy Snow Days

My sister made this card using this adorable snowman. I love how she colored his hat and scarf pink...my favorite color. We are supposed to get a little snow later today.
Thanks for a great card Shari.

Happy Birthday to You...

I made this card for my sis in law, Martha...she is a cyclist so this old Amuse Art Stamp was a perfect choice. I added some fun cherry blossom sequins to the basket and used my Martha Stewart grass die to finish it off. Loved making this card for someone special...hope you had a great birthday, Martha!

A classic

This is a great guy card. I believe it is a Norman Rockwell image and stamped in black and white on white makes is a clean and simple card.
You can't go wrong with Norman Rockwell.

Enjoy your day...

I also had a request for a few fishing cards.
Not sure what the name of this stamp is because I borrowed it from my friend, Sylvia.
It is a cute and simple card...though that fish is not enjoying his day.

Old McDonald...

I had a request for a couple of farmer cards. This is an old Stampin Up set and it was perfect for a few farm cards. The grass is a Martha Stewart die.

The set also includes these fun farm animals. Each one is standing in grass but I masked it off so I could stack them up on each other. Turned out so cute.

These two Valentine cards we made at Sylvia's card class. The Viking is cute and I love the trees that are a die cut of Tim Holtz. I actually went out and bought them because I thought they would be a great die to have for many occasions. You can find it at Hobby Lobby.

Cute and simple card using vellum. We stamped the red lips all over a piece of white cardstock and then adhered a piece of vellum and folded up the corner and tacked it down with a glitter heart. I stamped the word LOVE under the vellum. Someone special will be receiving this card!

This is such a fun card! The recipient will feel loved when they receive this card. The snowman just makes you happy looking at him. It is a die cut but the funny thing is...I have a snowman stamp just like it from Penny Black. It is a little smaller but the same cute fella.

I love the look of this card...such a pretty winter scene.
The inside has this cute little Yehti (sp?) holding a heart...what a fun card...Sylvia sure does come up with some great projects for her class.

Sylvia's card class

I went to Sylvia's card class the other day and it was a lot of fun. We made several winter cards and Valentine cards. She also had us create a cute little posti note holder with pen included and a fun slider candy bar that you can give as a gift. Thank you Sylvia for another great class!

Here is the snowman slider Hershey bar we made.
The snowman is from amuse studio, flaky friends.

This is the note holder we made at Sylvia's card class. I have it sitting on my desk in my stamp room. Love it...thanks so much Sylvia!!

A sweet friend of Emily's got engaged last week! I saw these 3-D stickers at Micheals and thought they would make such a cute card.
The sentiment is from amuse studio "happy wedding day"
Perfect for the newly engaged couple!

small gift bag

These little bags have a small Hershey bar inside.
I used a 6 x 6 multi paper pack. It is a one piece die. After die cutting you adhere together for an instant treat bag. You can put a gift card, money, candy...just about anything inside.
I tacked down the flap of the bag with a glitter heart sticker.

Owl be your Valentine.

This little cutie is from Unity stamp company. I just love their entire collection of this owl!
The background heart layer is from Taylored Expression....it is a die plate that when run through your cuttlebug or die cutting machine cuts all those tiny hearts out.

The inside sentiment is an inside joke with all my kiddos.
A great stamp set to have!

Happy Valentine's Day

These tags were so easy to make using washi tape and a sentiment.
You can tie them to just about any gift or use on a card front.
Sentiment is from Taylored Expression.

Sweet treat...

I found these tiny boxes of  conversation hearts and thought they would make a cute little treat for your Valentine! I did not want to cover the box so I put it in a cello bag and made a cute tag using washi tape and a sentiment, then tied it to the treat bag.

Stinkin' cute

Another cute treat using Lawn Fawn "you're stinkin cute" stamp set. The little skunk is so adorable...and he is so easy to color and he just makes a darn stinkin' cute treat for your sweetie!

Happy Birthday...

Yesterday was my Mother-in-law"s 87th birthday.
I made this card for her using the Simon says wild beauty stamp set.
The sentiment is something I had in my stash and the grass is a punch from Martha Stewart.

Love, Joy, and Peace...

I don't know how I could have missed this beautiful card in my post yesterday...perhaps it was because it was on my stamp shelf and not with all the other Christmas cards. This beauty was made by Melissa...one talented lady! So sorry for not posting it yesterday with all the other handmade cards. I guess I just loved it so much it had it's own special place.
Thanks again for everyone's handmade Christmas cards!

Thank you all for the beautiful handmade cards...I loved each one of them!

Fun envelopes...

These color envelopes came with the cards I posted yesterday on my blog. I used Altenew's "perfectly penned" stamp set to create these beautiful adressed names on the envelopes.
This is another beauty of an idea from Melissa....she rocks!

The back of the envelopes are just as fun...the striped flap adds some fun colors. The stamped label "hello from Ohio" is a great way to send a card to anyone out of state...I had it made by Impress.

Many Thanks

I needed to make some thank you cards and thanks to my sister-in-law, Melissa, for the cute house cards. I added the many thanks sentiment for a cute thank you card. I die cut the pointed circle and stitched circles from amuse studio dies. The cards were found at Target in their stationary department.
Thanks Melissa for these awesome cards.

I added the stitched circles in a variety of colors to match the houses on the cards.

I can't wait to see them bloom! Thank you Cheryl for a great gift!
