friend to friend

Another all time favorite...friend to friend!

I made this card for my friend Sylvia...it was her birthday last week and I thought the sentiment was perfect!

The friend to friend stamp set would be a perfect set for a beginner stamper. It has several images along with various sentiments...a little cardstock and ink and you are ready to go! You can order here to get started!

happy birthday!

I love the new father's day set for making guy cards.
The sentiment is from that's the ticket.
A little clear glaze for the lenses and a great card is made!

thank you

A long time favorite...floral duet.

I stamped the small open flower on grapefruit cardstock using versafine black. I outlined the flower using a signo uni-ball white pen to make it just pop! Thank you Chelsea Comer for this wonderful idea....love it!

someone's turning 60!

Dona turns 60!

I used the big celebrations, handscripted, and a hundred wishes stamp sets to make this card. I added a small heart jewel in the center of the dandelion ball to top it all off.
Happy birthday Dona! Hope you have a wonderful day and a great year!!
(happy birthday to my friend Sylvia, my sis-in-laws, Rose and Toni too!!)

with sympathy

I have been on a roll making sympathy cards. This one is using the all for love stamp set. It is a CAS card and perfect for sending someone who needs some thoughts and prayers.

you are in my thoughts...

I made this card using the retired "wild rose" set. It has become one of my favorites for making sympathy cards even though it is not available anymore, I had to share.

This is was a Mother's Day card we made at my launch party a few weeks ago. I changed the sentiment because my daughter needed a sympathy card. The essential sentiments stamp set is perfect for any occasion...a must for every stamper!

Loads of fun!

Our nephew will have loads of fun with his new baby boy! I sent this card to him and his family along with one to my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. I just love how it turned out! The little dump truck is from the loads of fun stamp set and the little baby looking out is from morning star.

Thank You

I like to include a thank you in with any order from amuse. I sometimes use a set that has been ordered by someone so they can have a sample of what they can do. This thank you was made using the "you're too kind" stamp set. I stamped the nest in french roast and then softened it  by sponging latte ink with a dauber over the nest. I added a little color to the eggs to match the sky cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in french roast and layered on kraft. I loved how it turned out.

recipe swap

I participated in a recipe swap with other fellow amuse consultants.
Here is my design for the recipe swap.
It was so much fun and everyone did a fantastic job on their recipes.

I have them displayed in a nice 6 x 6 album.

A big thank you to Brenda Lee for organizing the swap and for making the divider tabs!
You can view all the recipe swaps HERE.
Who knows, you might just find something good to fix for dinner!

Happy Birthday!

This is a combination birthday card/gift card holder. I love the lots of dots stamp set and with the petite polka dot background you've got the perfect combination!
I used papaya, mermaid, and grapefruit ink and had random circle punches.

Here is a little birthday bag full of goodies for my sister-in-law, Melissa.
It's her birthday today...Happy Birthday to you Melissa!
 Enjoy your day!

note or picture holder

These note holders or photo holders were made using the bermuda colors of cardstock. I love the mix of chevrons, polka dot and pinstripe. I found the jumbo clips at Staples.
The flower is the flower die set 2.

moving on

Casey saw a card on my blog earlier this week similar to this one. She has a co-worker leaving to move back home and wanted to make her a special card. Together we came up with this fabulous creation!
The little red truck is from the loads of fun set, but since there was no pick up truck in the set we used the tow truck and cut off the tow to make it into a pickup. The little boxes are from the itty bitty birthday set and we stamped them on kraft cardstock and cut off the bow. It is amazing how you can improvise when you don't have the exact stamp you need and yet it still turns out just how you wanted it to!
Great job Casey and good luck to your co-worker!

boy card

Love the set loads of fun...it is perfect for making a young boys birthday card. I used the set love is in the air to make a cityscape. The polka dot road finished off the card. I pop dotted the vehicles to make it look dimensional.

Awesome launch party!

Setting up for my launch was a lot of fun. I had plenty of room for everyone to make their projects.

A few little treats to sell and a table full of information about amuse studio.
Door prizes were ready to be given away.

Lots of amuse goodies to share...so many new products and samples to look at!

I made up a spotlight board featuring all the spotlight items for April. It was a huge hit and everyone seemed to like seeing all the samples you can do with the featured sets.

My first guest was a 5th grader who turned out to be a great stamper.
She enjoyed making a Mother's Day card for her Mom.

Friends came to see what Amuse is all about.

Everyone is hard at work making their cards and treats.

A fun day was had by all. I am so thankful to everyone who came to my launch party. I really appreciate Staci, owner of YOUnique BOUtique, for allowing me to host my launch party at her cute, little boutique.
