Butterfly Kisses...

My boss had a baby shower for her daughter last week and the theme was butterfly kisses and baby wishes...and oh how darling it was!
We stamped on painted water color paper the butterflies from Amuse Studio's Papillon stamp set.

We added a few to the invitation...so simple yet so pretty!

It was a beautiful day for an outdoor shower and being able to social distance.

The table decor was fabulous....beautiful butterfly houses with some more cut out butterflies.
The parents to be loved it.

Cat Sympathy

I have made in the past some sympathy cards for dog lovers and never really thought of cat lovers until a friend of mine needed a few cards.
These cards were made using a retired Stampin Up set.
I think the recipient will enjoy remembering their fun furry friend.

Pie Making 101

Lawn Fawn made it easy for my sister and I to make these darling pie favors for my daughters wedding. She got married on PI day this year...3.14.20
Her husband is a Math teacher and this was the perfect wedding favor.
Lawn Fawn's cake slice die and a pie add on made our job simple!

We made 300 pie favors.
It took us 4 days but it was a whole lot of fun!

As you can see we have several bins of pie slices.

There were 4 flavors...cherry, pecan, apple, and blueberry. The sentiments are from Sugar Pea.
They had the perfect "pi" sentiment.
Thank you again, Lawn Fawn for your amazing dies to make the wedding day even more special.

Look how darling these pies look at each place setting.

Cheers to the bride and groom and cheers to Lawn Fawn!

bugs and bees

Lawn fawn has such a cute, tiny treat box with many add ons to make some springtime treats!
This one is the Lady Bug add on....just darling.
visit Lawn Fawn to see more!

I adapted the lady bug add on to make a bumble bee box...it worked so nicely! I used all the add ons in the lady bug box to make the face and wings but I just cut black strips to add the bee stripes...another cute treat box created!!

They are side by side....so springy and cute!

Here are the lady bugs and buzzing bees....filled with 4 Hershey kisses.

Wedding day 3.14.20

The bride to be getting ready for her big day!
Makeup was done by kenzymarie
Everyone's makeup looked stunning and beautiful!

With the help from my sister, we made the wedding inviations using Pen and Ink Peony stamp from Impress. They turned out stunning.
Emily's something blue were her cute lacy blue shoes she wore...and her something new was the beautiful necklace and earrings Shawn gave her to wear.

Emily's something old was her grandmother's rosary that her mother-in-law wove into her bouquet....also which her her mother-in-law made, along with all the beautiful flowers that day!

Emily's something borrowed was her sister's veil from her wedding.

We MOMS looked awesome, if I don't mind saying so....

The proud DAD!

Beautiful wedding...beautiful couple!

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

It was a little cold, a little windy, and a little rainy....

...but that did not stop anyone from smiling all day!

Congratulations Emily and Shawn!
What a beautiful day to celebrate your love and happiness!
Special thanks to Ambervictoriaphotograpy for all the wedding photos...she was awesome!

Pi day/wedding day

My daughter got married this March on PI day...3.14.2020
So with the help of my sister we made about 300 of these darling pie boxes for favors. We had apple, blueberry, cherry, and pecan. Thanks to Lawn Fawn for the die cake box and pie add on to make our job much easier. It took us about 4 days to make them and it was so fun....and they are so cute!

Here they are on each persons place setting.
Inside were two mints.

The bride and groom decided to serve mini pies to all the guests for dessert.
There was a small cake just in case some did not like pie....who doesn't like pie?!
Special thanks to my friend and my boss for making them for us!

The lovely bride and groom...Congratulations Emily and Shawn!
Happy wedding, happy pi day!

Guess Who

So for anyone who has kids in their 20's or 30's you will remember having the game Guess Who.
My kids loved this game growing up...I got an idea from my son, who is now 25 to create a family version of the game for our Roell family Christmas exchange...needless to say...it turned out AWESOME!

We had just the right amount of family members to create this game. There are 11 siblings and their
spouses and Mom and Dad (aka...Grandma and Grandpa)
It took me over 4 hours to create our version. It is definitely a treasured gift...Carrie and her family ended up with the gift...I hope they enjoy it for years to come!
I may just have to make one for my family to enjoy in the years to come.
Thank your to the creator of the original game Guess Who, could not have done it without you!
