Sylvia is very talented and she passes that on to all of us when we attend her card classes.
This technique is called "eclipse"
We stamped the entire image on a piece of whisper white card stock and then we used letter dies to cut out and then pop them up to give this amazing look to the card!
So I keep adding to my stamp room. I had one of these shelves for about 7 years and needed another one....went back to the store I bought it at and low and behold they had them. I want to paint them white to match my desk and alex drawers but that will have to wait until spring time.
What a fun week it has been so far! I went to Sylvia's card class on Monday and made such beautiful cards and treats...let me tell ya...she rocks the card class!
Then yesterday I get a text from Sylvia showing me a picture of who showed up in our home town...all the way from Chicago...Chelsea!
We met up for dinner at Los Primos and enjoyed catching up. Chelsea is here on a business trip and took the time to visit with us...it was so great to see one of our long time stamping friends!
