Come on out to jumpstart your Christmas shopping; buy a gift for your best friend, mom, sister or daughter; or get a little something for yourself! All hostess benefits will be donated for the Aubrey Rose Foundation to use at their Dance For The Heart Of It silent auction. The Aubrey Rose Foundation helps families with children who are facing serious or life-threatening illness. They have covered the cost of needed surgeries, chemo treatments, handicapped vans, transportation and overnight accommodations for families just to name a few of their good works. They also celebrate life with parties at local and Dayton area Ronald McDonald houses, creating special memories for the families there. The foundation was named for a special and happy little girl who battled each day for survival. She endured several surgeries including a heart and double lung transplant. Aubrey Rose was progressing when she died suddenly just shy of her third birthday. In her memory, the foundation works to alleviate some of the hardship that far too many families face in the wake of a child’s illness.
