Big 3-0!

My niece turns 30 today! I made this card in Iowa at taylored expressions. However I added the number 30 to this card because I thought my niece's 2 little girls would love the smiley faces on the candle and cake. Happy birthday Katie!!

Hello...

My sister-in-law, Melissa had a stamp like this from Impress...only hers was Hello from Iowa and her friend Doreen had one that was Hello from Dublin. 

I needed one too...so Hello from Ohio!

I love this stamp...so fun to stamp on the back of the envelope to someone who lives in another state...and I have plenty of family and friends who do!

Happy Birthday

My sister taught me how to make this folded dimensional card. It was so easy and so fun. Karen loved her birthday card! The cupcake stamp is from Amuse Studio and the paper and Happy birthday die is from Taylored Expression.

I decided on my card size...added an extra inch and cut the cardstock. Then I folded the cardstock in half and then folded back the one side. I cut off the edge an inch and had the matching inside fold piece. Cut my pattern paper to fit, added my die cut, cupcake, and sentiment. So easy!

A few sequins from amuse studio to add sprinkles to the cupcake. I love this card!

Our house is like a Hallmark store in the month of August. We celebrate our anniversary....

So much fun to get mail in the month of August...especially all the beautiful handmade cards from friends and family. What a wonderful showering of love!

Washi card

What a beautiful and simple card to make using washi tape.

All you do is alternate washi tape all down your layer and then just tuck the ends around the back or cut them off. Add a simple tag and sentiment...layer if you like and you have a beautiful card in no time at all. My favorite...love the colors!

Coffin box

This is the new coffin die cut from amuse studio. It is in the August Collection and is a great die to have. It is so easy to put together and all the extra little dies you see on the box are included...the bats, skull, stars, and the number 31!

Fill it with treats and you have the perfect party favor. But hurry it is only available in August.

Stamp Club Celebration

Our Stamp Club met yesterday for our monthly Collection workshop. We had a Halloween theme since the August Collection from Amuse Studio is all about Halloween! I love my web table cloth... that I have no idea where I found it ...so many asked but I could not remember. It was perfect! I have a piece of clear vinyl to go over the top so it makes for easy cleaning after a day of stamping.

I made some cute treat bags with our creep it real witch legs.

Inside were treats of our August Collection sequins and some crepe paper.

I always stamp on the craft mat to go with the theme of the party.

Centerpiece for the table...notice the new coffin die box from amuse studio? It is awesome! Easy to assemble and fill with treats!

I got the witch at Tuesday Morning.

Our projects for the day...a big thank you goes out to Sylvia for her washi tape card we made at card class. I loved it so much I wanted our stamp club to do it. Another thanks for Kristine and Melissa...Kristine made the cupcake card for our Nat Con swap and I just missed out when she ran out and bless Melissa for making one for my birthday so I could have the sample card. As you can see I loved it so much I used it in the workshop. Lastly the witch card was designed by Marisa...love this card that I have made a lot of these...especially for the swap at Stampaway this year.

We were also surprising Regina, who was on a 2 year absence from Stamp Club because she was getting her Masters in Business...but she is back and we congratulate her on her graduation and getting her degree! Way to go Regina...and welcome back...we have missed you!

Always food at our get togethers. Thank you to Casey who smoked the pork shoulder and Colleen for our sides. Shari made delicious cheesecake and I had the chocolate chip cookies ready.

Working hard on our projects...always a great time.

puppy love

Emily has waited a long time to own her own doggie and yesterday her wish came true. She is a proud momma of Cooper a Tibetan Spaniel mix. He is a cutie!

A cute birthday card we made at Sylvia's card class...and since today is my birthday I thought I would post this one in celebration...love the color combo of grey and yellow!

This is a GREAT card! I love the witch legs from Creep It Real stamp set in the August Collection at Amuse Studio. We paired it with a witch hat that Sylvia found in the Northwoods booth at Stampaway. The new sequins are in the August Collection.

I love this card! We used a new die she bought from Simon Says at Stampaway that cut the word thanks and the scallop at the same time. I love the cardstock at the top and of course the stamp set from amuse studio's July Collection...not available but you can use just about any stamp.

Card class

I had a great time at Sylvia's card class yesterday. She used so many new things from amuse studio along with items she bought at Stampaway a few weeks ago. Great projects Sylvia!

prayers

I needed to make more sympathy cards and I just got my order from impress so I wanted to make more of these beautiful cards. The Peony stamp is from Impress...love it!

The die cut prayers is from Hero Arts...the die and words all come in one set. It is awesome! I die cut the word prayers from adhesive cardstock and it makes it even easier to adhere.

Came across this photo from a few years ago...we went to Chicago for a Reds game...Joe was waving his "we're number one" foam finger. 

He's number  "1" in our book!

If you can't tell by now that I love the creep it real set in the August Collection, well then you better look again at all my past posts...I just love these witch legs!

I used the picture frame die and stamped the web around it and added the spider...then I embossed the sentiment and you can't tell by the picture but it looks real glossy.

Prayers

I needed some sympathy cards and this is a quick and beautiful card to make. I bought the wheat stamp from Our Daily Bread at Stampaway and the sentiments were from Hero Arts. The set includes the die cut word "prayer"
