My boss gave me a beautiful basket of good reading. Inside were two hardback classics and 6 kindle books to download! I am so blessed to have a great boss and friend! Thanks Monica for such an awesome gift!

Christmas village

My kitchen remodel has begun...so I'm making good use of my island in my living room.

I love my winter village scene, and this year was a lot of fun setting up.

It's a shame it will have to come down when the island has to go back into the kitchen.

Family...

A few days ago I posted a picture of this beautiful family frame I received as a gift from a dear friend.

Today I want to show you how beautiful it looks with the family photos in it. I decided to use some of my favorite pictures from my daughter and new son-in-law's wedding from the spring. Love, love, love it!

My dear friend, Cheryl gave me this beautiful framed "family" to put a few of my favorite pictures in. She did a great job in creating this wonderful keepsake for me. I love the color choices she chose and the beautiful sayings. Family is so important and especially around the holidays.

Advent box

Here is an advent box I made for my craft show a few weeks ago. I made 5 different styles but this was my favorite one and wanted to share. I bought the box at hobby lobby and used amuse studio cardstock to decorate the drawers. I embellished with a few stamps, stickers, and chipboard.

I love the  deer walking along the snowbank in front of the treeline....it gives me peace!
