I made this anniversary card for my mother and father-in-law's anniversary. They are a wonderful example of true love...happy anniversary to the both of them!

A few months ago I participated in a second recipe swap with fellow amuse studio consultants. I loved the first round of recipes and I loved this one as well. I am going to an 80th birthday celebration today. I made this card using the anchors aweigh and big celebrations set as the birthday boy is a man of the sea...happy 80th birthday Jack!

Holiday Hoopla Open House

I moved my son back to XU and came home to an afternoon/evening of some Holiday Hoopla. I had everything pretty much ready before I left the house at 9 a.m. so that when I came home in the afternoon I only had to do a couple of things to be ready for all my stamping friends!

My awesome upline, Melissa, sent me some samples for my open house!

Door prize give -a -ways! Once again, my amazing upline who happens to be my sister-in-law sent me this lemon basket for my birthday and it was perfect for my open house as one of the spotlight items is Squeeze the Day stamp set! I plan to use this for my daughter's bridal shower as it is a lemon theme.

Food and drink is always served at my open houses. The mason jars and fancy lids were another birthday surprise from my wonderful sis-in-law. I also got the idea for the lemon slice picks from amuse studio conference earlier this year.

Our make and takes at Holiday Hoopla. the Halloween card was almost identical to the one Chelsea Comer created and the lemon card was a sample done by amuse studio...both a huge hit!

move in day

It's move in day for Luke! This pile is only the tip of the iceberg...he has added more to the pile and it has grown even bigger. I will be sad to see him go but he is so excited to be starting another year at XU!

wedded bliss...

My boss' daughter was married on Sat. August. 10th in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. 

The happy couple...Scott and Alex ....congratulations!

 These are the invitations we made...a very simple yet elegant design. 

There were response cards, accomodations cards, favors, table numbers and programs to be made. 

We used currant ink and currant shimmer from amuse studio. 

Abi and Katie...two gorgeous maids of honor.

The mother of the bride...my boss, made individual cakes for each table. She also made homemade vanilla ice cream....served in individual dishes for each guest.

She did a lovely job on the bride and groom's cake too!
Real flowers decorated the top of each cake.
