A sneak peek at some new product from the Holiday Catalog that will be released on August 1st!

I used kraft cardstock and stamped the screenprint background in onyx. I sprayed the card with the new cherry splash spray ink....which you all are going to love!

I added the 31 from birthday builder in cherry ink and then stamped Happy Halloween from the new toil and trouble stamp set.

I pop dotted the largest bat from the new bat trio die set to give this card some dimension!

She used the hey man and mad for plaids stamp sets from amuse.

Here is my version of her card that I sent to my brother-in-law for his birthday.
 I chose to put "relax it's your day" on the outside and the happy birthday sentiment on the inside.
I love the simplicity of this card!

fabulous 50!

This card is for a friend of mine who turned 50 recently! I used the floral duet, hand scripted, and the big celebrations stamp sets. Turning 50 is big so all these were perfect for this card.

This was an easy card to make using the new chevron paper in wasabi. I had some washi tape in the same color laying around and layered it up twice to cover a portion of the chevron. I added some onyx twine along with a strip of sugar cardstock with the letters spelling "boo" using the on broadway alphabet set.

Our theme for CARD CLUB this month was birthday. Everyone did a fantastic job and we had such a wonderful set of cards to take home at the end of the evening....great job ladies!

This was a great find at a friend's craft sale over the weekend. 

 I could not pass up this 24 slot paper holder for a mere $15!

I can now organize my amuse studio cardstock by patterns and colors. I love it!

wild rose

I used the wild rose stamp set to make this anniversary card. I stamped the leaf in fern and the rose in cherry. I then cut out the rose and pop dotted it to give the card a bit of dimension. I love how it pops off the cherry woodgrain card.



R & R in Gatlinburg

Joe and I got away for a little R & R to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary that's coming up. We spent a few days at the Buckhorn Inn....a wonderful place to relax. We had the tower room to the left. Everyone was so nice and friendly and the grounds were beautiful.

As we entered the tower there was a little sitting room and then you went up a flight of stairs to the bathroom and then another couple flights to our room. It was like a tree house...with windows all around it.

This was the view from our table as we dined for dinner and enjoyed our delicious breakfast in the morning.

I highly recommend you do dinner if you go. The food was amazing!

We had another couple take our picture. They were celebrating their 40th and we our 25th.

You are never too young to ride a carrousel....Luke and Jacob enjoyed an afternoon at the fair. 

roses are red...

Are these amazing or what!? My sister made these beautiful roses out of pop cans. She cut off the ends and then flattened the can out and ran it through her die machine. She spray painted the petals and curled them like she does with her flowers when she makes a card. I think they are just beautiful!

They went on plenty of rides and enjoyed an afternoon of fun.



Who's turning 5 ?



A big girl turns 5!

Our niece, Elena turned 5 yesterday but her card won't arrive until today.
 I was late in getting it in the mail.

I used the hey cupcake set to make this card...a favorite!

Shari made this beautiful anniversary card for Monica and Henry. I love the white cut out on this card. And of course we know how much Shari loves to do those flowers....gorgeous!

graduation rosettes

Kelly's graduation party was last week and her mom made these rosettes to use with her table decorations. She put them in a mason jar of wildflowers to add as a bit of a conversational piece.



Look at all these beautiful rosettes!

It is hard to see the rosettes in each jar but they were beautiful!

Shari seems to think this is the craziest bunch there....are you sure?....because Kelly is not in this picture!
