keepsake box

I bought this wooden box with photo openings at Hobby Lobby and personalized it for a special occasion. My niece, Rebecca is celebrating her First Holy Communion today. She will be able to keep all her treasures in this beautiful box. I stamped the religious saying on vanilla cardstock using Titan ink from amuse studio. The R was a dollar stamp I found at Michaels a while ago and the cross is a sticker. She can put photos in the empty spots or just keep it the way it is. 

Happy 40th!

My sister-in-law is turning 40 today! I made this card with the hey cupcake stamp set from amuse studio. I added number stickers on the cupcake liner so she would be sure to know how old she is! Happy Birthday Rose!

First Communion

My niece will be making her First Holy Communion this weekend. I made her this card using some amuse studio products. The cross is a sticker and you can't tell by the photo but it has a bit of sparkle to it. I love how it turned out.

I love the card in the catalog on pg. 111 so much that after making them at Katie's workshop, I came home and put together another one using a different sentiment.

Katie's workshop

Katie had an amazing workshop on Sunday. We made the three projects you see here...along with stamping friends, food, and laughs...we all had a great time. The coaster was simple to make...just use tiles from Home Depot and some stazon ink in your choice of color. The center card is featured in our catalog on page 111. However, I did change it up just a bit. The adorable card on the right was designed by Melissa, my sister-in-law. I fell in love with the one she made in pink and thought we needed to make one at Katie's workshop since Katie is expecting.



Look how darling everyone's baby cards turned out using the little peanuts stamp set.

Happy 50th!

Melissa turned 50 this month and when she was in town all the sisters and sister-in-laws went to celebrate at El Mariachi....fun times!

The waiters even sang the spanish version of happy birthday to her!

My sister Shari surprised me with this awesome sign for me to put in my stamp studio. I love how she designed the shape to match one of amuse studio's label dies. I also love the charming gardners which she happened to paint in my favorite color! She is amazingly talented and I just love sharing it with all of you. Thanks Shari....you are terrific!

(Oh yeah and she also made one for my wonderful sister-in-law too!)

Senior Prom

Last night was LaSalle's Prom...Luke all spiffed up and ready to roll.

This is a card my sister made for our dad for his birthday. I like the navy and white. Shari is so good at making rosettes. Love it!

country charm

Shari made this country decor for a raffle. It has a rustic feel to it and she will personalize the winner's name on the barn too.  This would look so good in my home....

going green....

My sister gave me this great re-usable bag in lime green venetian. I love it and it matches the amuse studio logo perfectly! She is making me a tag to hang on the bag to take with me when I do workshops....it will be my amuse studio bag!

most favorite...

I love the special edition birthday stamp set from amuse. If you were one of the lucky ones to receive it for hosting a workshop during the month of March then you know how nice this stamp set really is. I love the saying that I stamped for the background of this card. I stamped the amuse logo in the balloon to make a great birthday card celebrating amuse studio.

who's turning 50?

Melissa turns 50 today! Happy birthday to the birthday girl! I made this card using amuse products in honor of the big day. chevrons and floral duet...a great combination.

amuse goodness...

It's like Christmas when a brown box arrives on your doorstep! This order was one of the largest I have had to sort. It was so much fun to see all the amuse inks, paper, stamp sets, free notecards, buttons, dies, and so much more.....I love amuse!

Another great idea for a shower gift is to make some thank you cards for the bride. I made these for Ali so that she will have a head start on her thank you's. The sentiment is from a retired stamp set from amuse studio

candy nuggets

This candy nugget tin was part of Ali's shower gift. I used a variety of wedding stamps to decorate labels that I wrapped around Hershey nugget candy. I did a little embellishing for some extra sparkle. The tin is from PTI and the crush ribbon is from amuse studio. I love making these for special occasions.

date night...



This is the gift I took to Ali's shower over the weekend. I bought the picnic basket at Target along with the beautiful napkins. I decided to put together a "date night" picnic basket for the two of them. I found some acrylic wine glasses at T.J. Maxx that I thought would be great for a picnic...don't have to worry about breaking them. I put a bottle of wine along with a corkscrew some chocolate, loaf of bread, and the movie "date night" in case of inclement weather they can have their picnic inside. The tags were made with burano cardstock from amuse...a perfect match....like the bride and groom!



peep cake

I saw this on Pinterest and in our area newspaper last week and had to take it to Easter dinner over the weekend. Everyone thought it was cute and of course it being a chocolate cake....delicious!

It was very simple to make. All you need is a cake mix, frosting, peeps, and chocolate chips!

 Ali's bridal shower was over the weekend and one of the gifts she received was this beautiful shadow box frame that Monica made. I think my favorite part of the shadow box is the tuxedo heart.

Happy Easter everyone! I made very simple Easter cards this year using the egg die and grass die from amuse studio. The sentiment is from the "for peeps sake" stamp set. The grass is the opposite piece from the actual grass that is cut from the die. So you can have skinny grass or fat grass.

My azalea is in full bloom and just gorgeous.....had to share! 

sweet treat...

I love making cute little treats for all the holidays. This is one of my favorites....a cute little candy jar full of yummy candy! I find the glass jars at Hobby Lobby or plastic jars at Staples. I used the "for peeps sake" stamp set from amuse studio to decorate the lid. A little ribbon around the edge and you have a great little party favor or gift.

This card was made for my brother-in-law who likes to bike. The "enjoy the ride" stamp set was perfect for the occasion. I used the onyx grograin ribbon for the road and stamped the balloon on the handle bar with a sentiment inside. Happy birthday Tom...enjoy the ride!
