I bought a candy filled jar like this at the LaSalle craft show. Yes, I know I was a crafter set up so what was I  doing buying other things.... I just could not pass up something so cute. I will be making some of these for the craft show I am setting up at this weekend.

I made a gift card holder for my friend who was attending a baby shower over the weekend. I used yellow gingham from amuse along with french roast and sugar cardstock. I stamped the polka dots in lemon whip ink. The words and baby buggy were stamped in french roast ink. I added some ivory pearls and twine to finish it off. The buggy is a clear amuse stamp from a long time ago. I hope the lucky recipient liked this gift card as much as I do.

O' Christmas Tree.....

One of two trees we put up over the holiday weekend. We had plenty of help from family that had come in town for the Thanksgiving holiday. I am ready for the rest of the festive decorations.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday..... gathering together and sharing a fabulous feast. Happy Thanksgiving to my friends and family....I am thankful for each and every one of you!

I always like to include a small thank you note in each customers order when I deliver them. I love the indian corn stamp in the harvest blessing set. Thank you ladies for making every workshop a fun time. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

fall rosette

My sister creates the most beautiful rosettes. I call her the queen of rosettes! She made this beautiful decoration using the tweet heart set from amuse studio. She stamped it on shrinky dink in an array of fall colors, layered it and put a ribbon hanger to make a gorgeous fall decoration. Can't wait to see what she creates next!

Setting up shop!

I had a great time at the LaSalle craft show on Sunday. Met a lot of great people, did a little Christmas shopping and sold a lot of hand crafted items. I also shared amuse studio to those who stopped by my table. Thanks everyone for making it a great day! See you all next year!



Craft Show today!

La Salle Annual Arts and Craft Show

Please join us at La Salle High School's Annual Arts and Craft Show on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.   You will get a chance to buy exclusively handmade, painted and decorated items from over ninety artisans and craftsmen.

These are just a few of the items I will have for sale at LaSalle's craft show today. Don't forget your secret Santa gifts and your stocking stuffers!

Posti Notes

More craft show items. I love the tones of these posti note pads. It was an old paper pack I bought last year and I love all the patterns and colors. Come on over to LaSalle High School on Sunday from 10-4.  There will be many great crafters so you can get a jump on Christmas shopping....I'll be there!



gobble gobble.....

My sister surprised me with this darling little turkey! Is he just not about the cutest thing you ever saw?!  Everything but his body and the wooden disc his feathers are attached to are part of a snowflake....his feet, feathers, nose, arms, and gobbler are made from one of the snowflake dies. My sister used the beautiful fall colors of cardstock to create his turkey feathers.

I just love this little guy!

What a darling treat bag made with the tweet heart stamp set from amuse.....I guess it's just not for Valentine's Day.....the stamp made a beautiful fall tree!

My sister made this matching fall card to go along with the bag...just beautiful! Stay tuned for tomorrow's post....you are going to love it!

warm wishes

I made these darling cocoa bags to sell at my craft show this weekend. I used the small mitten die to cut the mittens out of blue and white amuse felt. I adhered them to a small clothespin and added pearls to the cuff. I stamped a snowflake on glassin bags and slid in the cocoa packet and clipped the mitten to the folded edge. How darling are these to give to co-workers, family or friends this holiday season!

Workshop fun!

We had another great time at our workshop on Sunday. Everyone enjoyed making the 3 projects. As always we shared stories, ideas and a lot of good laughter. So glad Jeanne could make it this time. The munchies were delicious...super job Regina....you were the hostess with the mostess!

Katie and Casey, we wish you could have joined us, but we know you had other plans.

Here is another project we will be making at Regina's workshop. I just love the Naughty or Nice stamp set from amuse studio. It has become one of my favorites!

These two altoids containers have been decorated so you can present them to someone as a little secret santa gift or stocking stuffer. The one on the left is covered with the cello wrap removed and the one on the right still has the cello wrap on. You can decide which one you like better, but I think they both turned out cute. This is one of the projects we will be doing at Regina's workshop on Sunday. It's going to be fun!

Fall is my favorite time of year and I love everything about this card!

Amuse has a beautiful selection of pearls in so many colors....it is just so hard to choose one so I got them all in my last order. I know I will be using them on many projects. So very pretty!

stocking stuffers

I made these for my next craft show. I thought that they would be great stocking stuffers, secret santa gifts, or something teachers could give their students for the holidays that would be very inexpensive. I used the 1 x 8 amuse cello bags and added a topper using the words from the naughty or nice stamp set. I stamped a small heart for the finishing touch!

On Sunday my church had their fall festival turkey dinner along with a craft and vendor show. It was a beautiful day and many people came out to have a delicious dinner and browse among the many crafters and vendors. It was a great day to meet new people and spread the word of amuse studio!
