and one more...

Once again, Linda has shared with us a cute valentine treat. These gummy hearts were put on a lollipop stick and wrapped in a clear treat bag. She added a cute tag and you have the perfect little valentine treat for all your sweet friends.

be my valentine...

Here is another great treat Linda from amuse studio made. I love the little hearts from the silver linings stamp set that decorate the top of this candy treat. A red heart from our heart trio die makes it just perfect!

it's a boy

Karen came over on Sunday to make this darling little baby card for her new grand-nephew.
I love the little baby face by morning star. (actually 3 on one block, but only ink one baby face when  making this type of card.) By masking the crib the little baby peeks out of the top to say hello!
Great job Karen!

from owl of us...

It is hard to come up with a guy card at times. I love this card and I hope Jerome did too. I used seasonal branch stamp set and the owl's well stamp set. These little owls and the sentiment were perfect for this card.

I even stamped an owl over the inside sentiment. What a fun card this was to make!
Happy birthday Jerome!

I had to share a cute photo of the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Brown. Collin's sister had these Dayton Flyer shirts made for Collin and Alison. They will wear them proudly after they are married. Can you guess the wedding date?

LOVE

We have a very crafty family and my sister-in-law Martha made this cute decorative gift. She bought wooden blocks and printed pictures of the happy couple to decorate sides of the blocks. It was a big hit.
I "LOVE" this idea!

showered with love

We went to a shower for Alison and Collin yesterday. I made these thank you notes as part of their shower gift. It was a fun day with lots of  family, friends, good food and fun.
I used the showered with love stamp set and the silver linings stamp set. I masked off the umbrella so it would look like it was raining hearts.

I also stamped the word thank you inside the lower corner.

love

I made this cute card using the big heart die from amuse studio. The tree is from the stamp set tweet heart. I got the idea of stamping the tree in brown and the leaves in green from Linda...our CEO of amuse studio. She added the hearts in between the leaves and I added the heart on the tree trunk.
Thanks Linda for the inspiration...love this card and love amuse studio!

Love tag

I made a cute tag for this shower package. I used some Marvy punches for the actual tag and then stamped the heart, arrow and love.

Cheers!

I made a cute tag for a new home owner. I used the label 8 spellbinders and then layered them to make a thicker tag. The stamp is all in one...not sure who makes it.

Add the tag to a bottle of wine tied with some pretty ribbon and you have a great house warming gift!

January

It is 50 degrees outside and I thought I would share my January calendar page to remind everyone it is still winter! I used let it snow stamp set for the background. Regina had the great idea of stamping a few snowmen in black to make the page stand out. The snowman was from the stamp set sweet wishes from last years holiday catalog.

Here is a 2014 calendar cover made with the big celebrations stamp set and floral duet. I love how the front of my calendar turned out. I took it to Fed Ex and had it bound for just a few dollars.

valentine card class

Yesterday I took a card class at Archiver's with my friend Sylvia.
It will be my one and only card class there since they are going out of business.
It was a great class and I love all the itty bitty Valentines we made.
It is hard to pick a favorite since each one is so unique....but if I had to pick...
I really like the "how do I love thee"

mother

I made this card for my Mother-in-law's birthday. I used the new Even Taller Alphabet die and one of my favorites...floral duet stamp set. Cardstock is apple, sugar, onyx, and onyx petite polka dot. The center of the flower is apple pigment ink. A little sheer organdy ribbon to finish off the card.

paper cutter

I bought this paper cutter at Hobby Lobby using a 40% off coupon and along with a gift card  it was a steal! I was in need of a new paper cutter and I like the ones with the arm and blade and this suited me perfectly!

Amuse 2014

My amuse 2014 planner is ready to go! I printed out the pages and found this awesome little 3 hole punch at Staples. It was perfect for punching the holes to fit this small planner. I suggest if you need one for a small planner or address book to go buy one now...it's awesome, and only $8.99!

Coasters

These darling tiles were a gift for each person attending the Hope for the Holidays fundraiser last weekend.
My friend worked many hours stamping and coloring these cute tiles so everyone would have a remembrance of their evening out. Great job Bettie! I love mine!

Look how beautifully packaged each set of coasters are!

Believe...

My sister and I donated these two light up snowmen for the Hope for the Holidays fundraiser. I purchased the two unfinished wood snowmen and lights and my sister painted the snowman to create a beautiful decoration for your home. Some lucky bidder will be enjoying the glow and warmth of these two snowmen in their home this winter season.

Shari's artistic talent and detail is shown up close!

A little greenery and a few hand painted birds add the finishing touches.

Fundraiser Event

Last night I worked a fundraiser for a friend of mine who put it all together! Hope for the Holidays is a dinner/auction fundraiser to help raise money for the fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
The theme this year was Believe...

There were raffles, silent auctions, delicious food and  a whole lot of fun!

And after a delicious dinner...of course there would be dessert!

This beautiful cake was made by Busken Bakery. It went with the theme of the evening....Believe!
Thank you Bettie for allowing me to be a part of this cause and for a chance to help make a difference. Karen and I had a great time working this fundraiser. It was quite cold outside and snowy but perfect for the theme of the event.
