neon orange...

Neon orange is one of the new dye inks this summer. I think it is perfect for Halloween. As you can see we have a new spiral background stamp that is AWESOME!!

mr. bones

Mr. Bones is a great new set coming in August....he is so fun to stamp with. I stamped him on sugar cardstock and then stamped him again and cut out his rib cage and lower half and pop dotted them to give more dimension to his boney frame. I love this guy! Notice the new neon orange ink? You are going to love it!

Christmas in July...

A few days ago I received my pre-order goodies from amuse studio's holiday catalog. Here is just one of the beautiful new stamps. Since we have had 90+ temps all week, I thought I would share a little Christmas cheer. I hope it helps to cool you off. The holiday catalog will be here on August 15th. Again, another recycling project my sister designed. 

After quenching her thirst with some
Arizona tea, 

she turned the aluminum can into some beautiful jewelry.

My sister is so creative...she took some old flower pots and turned them into a beautiful outdoor wreath to grow plants in. Great idea!

Bettie's make and take workshop

Bettie, my downline, had a make and take amuse studio workshop yesterday at her house. She did a fantastic job creating boards for everyone to see a variety of amuse studio products. 

She also featured a Spotlight board and all the specials going on in the month of July.

explosion of pink

In early May I planted some bubble gum pink wave petunias. I have had very good luck with these particular flowers....just look at the explosion of pink two months later!

You can no longer see the little stone bunny or the rock wall with the stone angel....so beautiful!

I love how the torn edge looks like the frothy foam of a beach wave. 

A little diamond glitter added to the star fish and you have a great card!

Came across this the other day and I was not sure if I ever shared it. My sister is a very talented gal...here she created a card and made matching roses out of aluminum cans...yes you heard right....aluminum cans. She used the retired "wild rose" set to make this beautiful sympathy card. I love how she added a bit of sparkle to the leaves and rose petals. Beautiful card Shari!

modern zinnia

I am working on a fundraiser basket for a friend and thought I would do a modern zinnia theme. I made a set of notecards using apple, orange, and buttercup ink for the flowers. The base cardstock is apple. 

deal of the day...

I was browsing through Michaels last week and found the deal of the day! 

Our store is closing to re-open in the mall and they had 50% off their markdown prices so this beauty was a whopping $15! These are regularly $70 but they had some marked down. I have been wanting one of these for a long time! It pays to be patient and in the right spot at the right time!

Came out of the box in one piece...no assembly required!!

My sister sent me this card for the 4th of July. She used the pennant die to form the card base out of navy petite polka dot. She used some stickles to make the fireworks shine. Love this card...thank you Shari!

Happy 4th!

I saw this in a magazine and had to try it! This was one of the treats at my camp wanna stamp the other day. I thought I would post it today since it is patriotic for the 4th of July. They were so easy to make using blueberries, raspberries, and mini marshmallows! It will be the hit of your party!

welcome campers...

I hosted camp wanna stamp yesterday and it was a HUGE hit! I started out welcoming my campers with a banner made with amuse studio banner die. I had some sticker letters to put on each pennant.

You gotta have props! I used my son's Fischer Price tent that he used as a little boy....it was perfect for the occasion. Thanks Luke for letting me borrow your tent.

Campers need to stay hydrated...it is hot out there in the camp world.

FOOD....gotta have camp food when camping.
We had walking tacos and s'mores on a stick...little smokies and fruit skewers.

This group were the rowdy campers...had to keep an eye on them....they look so innocent right now.

Our campers proudly wear their camp badges they earned during camp wanna stamp. We enjoyed a day of good food, stamping and GREAT friends....that's what it is all about!
